America Online, Inc., the world's leading Interactive services company, today announced the launch of Infinity Broadcasting's KTWV-FM on AOL(R)'s top-ranked Radio@AOL and Radio@AOL for Broadband. KTWV-FM, also known as The Wave, joins New York's WCBS-FM (Oldies) and Chicago's WUSN-FM (Country) among the Infinity Broadcasting stations representing diverse formats that AOL offers its members on AOL and AOL for Broadband. Washington D.C.'s urban crossover station, WPGC-FM, and Chicago's rock station, WXRT-FM, are slated to launch on the service in the coming weeks.
The Wave pioneered the Smooth Jazz format when it launched in 1987. The award-winning radio station's rich, elegant blend of music mixes contemporary instrumental jazz with smooth vocals.
