Lead the Pack of Innovative Features Designed for Active Families
Motorola and Giant International -- Motorola's Talkabout(R) strategic market alliance -- plan to introduce four new Motorola Talkabout(R) two-way radios to complement other Motorola Talkabout(R) two-way radio models for 2004. The "Innovative Series" of Motorola Talkabout(R) radios will include MP3, solar-charging, text messaging and games targeting active family and outdoor lifestyles, while keeping family members in touch and in constant communication.
In addition to the "Innovative Series," the entire Motorola Talkabout(R) line has been dramatically redesigned and functionally re-engineered, producing a series of contemporary colors and styles with rugged durability and clear signals. The radios have been upgraded with the latest functional technology, enhancing the units' already superior Motorola performance and durability.
"All of the Motorola Talkabout(R) radios have been re-engineered to upgrade technical features and to provide exciting new looks to complement the outstanding performance Motorola is known for," said Giant International Marketing Director Cortlandt Minnich.

Robust signal clarity for long ranges is the hallmark of the newly redesigned Motorola Talkabout(R) two-way radio series.
Motorola Talkabout(R) two-way radios are designed to deliver outstanding range, while also offering those operating in closer proximity with superior clarity and reliability.
The new Motorola Talkabout(R) series of two-way radios will have the built-in power to take advantage of both General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) and Family Radio Service (FRS) frequencies. The series will feature Motorola engineering advances to provide the range, clarity and reliability expected from Motorola's market leading hand-held two-way radios.
Motorola's Talkabout(R) T5SOL
Motorola's Talkabout(R) T5SOL two-way radio concept will have a distinctive "Solar Boost" feature that permits users to use their radios longer outdoors using the sun's energy. While not replacing direct-current recharging, this Solar Boost feature will make the T5SOL a serious radio for athletes and outdoor enthusiasts needing longer talk time when they are outdoors.
