Galliford UK's specialist telecomms arm Galliford Communications has won a framework agreement from BT to construct radio base station sites in England, Wales and Scotland.
The total agreement is worth up to GBP30m over five years. The contract's initial phase, valued at approximately GBP1.75m, covers the first police force area in Lancashire. The agreement with Galliford forms part of a GBP2.5bn contract awarded to BT by the UK government to provide Britain's police forces with a wireless voice and data communications service.
